Selfishness is what drives most anti-social events. The mob mentality and thuggish behavior is driven by selfishness. Mix in misunderstanding and you have riots. I heard one of the gay mobsters (they moved beyond protestors) say Christians and Mormons hated gays. Not true at all. I'm a christian who has had several friendships with gays and lesbians. I may disagree with their lifestyles but that aside I found their friendship added to my wealth in terms of happiness overall. I, however, could not provide them the one thing that the gay mobsters want which is MORAL ACCEPTANCE. The gay mobsters I saw last night think they are hated by Christians and other religions. Obviously, there are those in any demographic which for their own reasons DO hate just as their are gays in their demographic who equally hate Christians, Mormons etc. The gay mobsters seem to be under the misguided impression that because we (the majority)will not redefine marriage to suit their whim that they are hated from top to bottom. This impression has helped fuel their underlying hatred for anyone who does not concede moral acceptance on their behalf. Like a child throwing a temper tantrum when a parent denies the child a want over a need. Gays enjoy every right and priviledge afforded every American under the Constitution and Bill of Rights, but they insist (like most liberals)on inventing rights out of thin air for every conceivable notion that strikes their fancy. They are now attacking everything that moves that doesn't provide moral acceptance of their lifestyle. We have created hate crime statutes (needlessly)to provide penalties to those who commit crimes motivated by hate. Why aren't the Mormons and Christians being protected under these same statutes? Don't these people of faith deserve to be protected from hate crimes too? Thus the second point I'm trying to make is the needlessness of hate crime statutes. Any crime is a hate crime on some level or another and we already have laws for criminal activity thus negating the need for special treatment of "certain groups". NOW GET BACK TO WORK!! Millions of illegal immigrants on welfare are depending on you!
